Leyna Krow is the author of the short story collection I'm Fine, But You Appear To Be Sinking (Featherproof Books 2017) and the novel Fire Season (Viking 2022), which was nominated for The Center for Fiction's First Novel Prize. Her second story collection Sinkhole & Other Inexplicable Voids (Viking) is forthcoming in 2024. She lives in Spokane, WA with her husband and two children.
Ellen Welcker is the author of Ram Hands (Scablands Books, 2016), The Botanical Garden (Astrophil Press, 2010) and five chapbooks, including “Keep Talking,” just out from Sixth Finch Books. She lives in the US midwest, coordinates the Bagley Wright Lecture Series on Poetry, and is online at ellenwelcker.com.
Laura Read is the author of But She Is Also Jane, forthcoming from University of Massachusetts Press in 2023, Dresses from the Old Country (BOA, 2018), Instructions for My Mother’s Funeral (University of Pittsburgh Press, 2012), and The Chewbacca on Hollywood Boulevard Reminds Me of You (Floating Bridge Press, 2011). She served as poet laureate for Spokane, Washington from 2015-17 and teaches at Spokane Falls Community College and Eastern Washington University.
Maya Jewell Zeller’s out takes/ glove box was selected by Eduardo Corral as winner of the 2022 New American Poetry Prize; her other collections include Rust Fish (Lost Horse Press, 2011), Yesterday, the Bees (Floating Bridge Press, 2015), and the collaboration, with visual artist Carrie DeBacker, Alchemy for Cells & Other Beasts (Entre Rios Books, 2017). Maya teaches in Central Washington University’s BA and MA programs in Professional and Creative Writing, as well as the low-residency MFA at Western Colorado University.
