About the Author
Alex Rabinowitch, a world renowned authority on the history of the Russian Revolution, is Professor emiritus in history at Indiana University, where he began teaching in 1968. He has published many publications on the history of the Russian Revolution and Soviet history. He was a recipient of the prestigious Andrew W. Mellon Emeritus Fellowship for the years 2007-08.
